Hello Digital Leaders & Families, We are so excited to start the school year next week with all of you! Here are some of the brand new materials we will be learning with this year, in addition to becoming better Chromebook users. Other exciting news is there will be two digital literacy teachers this year! Mrs. Acevedo is returning for a second year as a Digital Literacy teacher. She is being joined by Ms. Jones , a former Roosevelt 5th-grade teacher, starting this fall. You will see one or both of us around your schools. All 3rd, 4th, and 5th-grade students will have a Digital Literacy special every week, all year long! In Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd-grade students will also have a push in digital literacy lesson every couple of weeks as a part of their day. So that means every student in Melrose is going to learn how to be a safe, respectful, and responsible digital citizen at school & at home! We're looking forward to seeing you next we
